Lakewood Arts Festival

The 40th Annual Lakewood Arts Festival will take place on Saturday, August 5, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Detroit Avenue. This year's festival is a juried exhibition of all media in fine arts and crafts and will feature over 160 artists from across the country and over 30 additional booths operated by various not-for-profit organizations and offering food, beverages, products and activities for children. In addition, live music will be performed throughout the day at City Center Park, located at Cook and Detroit Avenues.

Warehouse District Street Festival

FREE Admission.

Featuring live music, delicious food from neighborhood restaurants and bars, an art show, art demonstrations, residential open houses, children's activities, unique street performers, appearances by Jasmine Dragons Aerialists, Cleveland's Cutest Dog Contest & Fashion Show, a variety of vendors and much more!  This year's entertainment schedule will include great local musicians, food and vendors from across the region.  Over 12,000 people attend the event each year.  

The event is supported in part by the residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture.

Artists interested in applying for the art show component of the event can download an application here.  Businesses interested in learning about Festival sponsorship opportunities should contact Historic Warehouse District Development Corporation staff here, and note what type of business they represent.

Flats East Bank will host Cleveland’s second annual Flats Festival of the Arts this August! Notable local and national artists will exhibit and sell their work by Cleveland’s waterfront, Aug. 19-20. 

Exciting new additions to the festival will include the event being free of charge to the public and the collaboration with Downtown Cleveland Alliance’s SPARX City Hop 2017

Flats Festival of the Arts will then be open to the public for the entire weekend Aug. 19-20 as patrons enjoy the unique craftsmanship of each artist featured throughout the Flats East Bank. From ceramics to woodwork, to photography and painting, there will be hundreds of artists displaying their work from around the country.  

The Festival will also feature many of the region's most talented musicians and dancers. A wide selection of food and beverages will be available including Flats East Bank's onsite dining and entertainment establishments.

Bites, Booze & Boogie is the offical kick-off party for Flats Festival of the Arts. Their event will be August 18, 2017 from 6:30 p.m. to 12 a.m. For more information about the event visit Bites, Booze & Boogie.

Flats Festival of the Arts Hours: 

Saturday, Aug. 19 - 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

Sunday, Aug. 20 - 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Flats Festival of the Arts will support Cleveland School of the Arts, a specialty arts school in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District for students grades 9-12, and H.E.L.P., a nonprofit organization devoted to developing a pathway for children living in rural regions of Africa. H.E.L.P will also kick off the event festivities with Bites, Booze, and Boogie their annual fundraiser event on Friday, August 18.

Join the growing trend this June 16 and 17, 2017! Enjoy a pairing of upcoming wineries and art surrounded by Grove City’s Town Center’s unique spin of hot spots and culture. The festival, now in its seventh year, repeatedly draws 30,000 wine and art enthusiasts from all over Ohio and beyond. Coverage in magazines such as Columbus Monthly, Columbus Parent, and City Scene Magazine makes this Wine and Arts Festival a desirable event for the best of the 209 Ohio wineries to offer samples of their best vintages. Social media also reports the event. Experience a large variety of wines and small plates in one location, while finding perfect fine art adornments for their homes. In some cases, wine tasters can even create art.
Over twenty wineries are expected to present their latest creations. In addition to a variety of Ohio vineyards and wineries, guests can enjoy Grove City Town Center’s own Plum Run Winery.

Sampling and shopping develops an appetite!  Delicious meals are plentiful in the town center. Select from the satisfying comfort food of Sue Terre’s Food Affair to Oysters on the half shell from En Place food truck, and everything in between.
Tickets are available the day of the event and come in bundles of 8 with an event glass for only $20. Usually, each sample runs only one ticket. The glass only, without samples is three tickets. After the initial purchase, additional tickets are available at 3 for $5. The event runs in the heart of Grove City’s historical area from 5 to 10pm on Friday June 16 and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m on Saturday June 17 .

Looking to attend the Wine and Arts Festival from out of the area, no problem we will be running a shuttle service the day of the event from all of our convenient hotels in Grove City. Joey Fredrickson from Society Lounge will be working his magic and crafting cocktails with Portside Rum, Middle West Spirits and Pope's Kitchen cocktail sauces, Fat Casual will be firing up the smoker in the Portside lot and Citizen Woodshop and Chris Deighan Art will be presenting their wares in the pub.
